Bethel (end of the road)

Just back from the last session at bethel, and It has been totally intense!
Love how God ministers through very different people, I’ve received so much through such a rich group of people. Some stuff has really messed with my understanding of things. I Like it!
There has also been some pretty wild prayer meetings. Carol and John Arnott decided to pray for everybody here which was really powerful.
Benni Johnson was talking specifically about England and that it was time for the Bells to ring out again over our country calling the people back to God! She got all the ‘Brits’ out and prayed over them – we’re getting totally filled and blessed to overflowing
I have been so impressed by the church here and all the individual testimonies from the church, they are a group of people that are really influencing their city and taking it for Jesus Christ. Revealing His love to neighbours, friends and strangers through healings, miracles and an outrageous generosity!
Bill Johnson summed it when he said that he’d recently had someone come and ask if they could go on the outreach team that goes to the mall (shopping centre). Bill looked confused at them and they said you know all the testimonies of miracles and encounters that has been happening and Bill Johnson said Oh we don’t have an outreach team to the mall we just have people that shop!
God thank you for this church, keep filling and blessing these people so much more than they can handle

My journey in America is just about ended But I’m looking forward to all that God has for us as a church! Wahoo!!!
Thank you to everyone that has been praying and blessing me in different ways I’ve really appreciated it and have missed everyone sooo much!! SEE YOU VERY SOON!!!:)

Bethel

Went to Bethel’s Sunday service yesterday. Fantastico!!!
(Brilliant how every taxi driver seems to know Bethel.)
Presence of God in the church is awesome, hits you as soon as you walk inside. There’s a real unity amongst the church and everyone is hungry for God and to see Him move. Am really enjoying meeting all the different people. Its interesting to see how these guys run church as well.
There was a lot of specific word’s of knowledge given out from the front last night, which led to a lot of people getting healed, one example was a word about someone who had been in an accident in a red car 15 years ago and has suffered with back-pain ever since. Eventually a lady came forward and told how her back-pain, which was the result of a car accident 15 years ago in a red beetle, had been healed. Lots of exciting stuff was happening.
Looking forward to the conference which starts on Wednesday.

Last night at Toronto

God has taught me a lot here.
I’m a pretty open guy but there is a lot of what I thought were very weird people here, and I was finding this a bit distracting. But God soon made me realise that as I was sat judging them, that they were just a people hungry for God’s presence and for another touch from their father. Even tho I was struggling at the start with this I was challenged when a couple of strange people prayed for me and the unmistakable presence of the Holy Spirit was so strong. There is a serious anointing here and a strong love for God and for each other – it’s very precious.
They are different from me and that’s totally ok. And in fact I’ve come to realise that I really love there child likeness and weirdness.
I really don’t understand everything that goes on, But I know I’m really thankful for these guys and for what God is still doing here!

Because it was the last night they did a huge Fire Tunnel for everyone to walk through – Quality
(That’s basically a tunnel of people that you walk through while their all praying for you.)

Had a fantastic time here, made some new friends, and received a lot. Now I’m moving on to my final stop – Bethel church in Redding California. Really excited about this. Everywhere I go people are telling me how awesome it is! Gona be Good

Toronto cont.

I’m still in Toronto. The speakers here are Bill Johnson, Wes Hall, and John Arnott. It’s been really good, had a lot of stuff imparted so far and God is so good. Struggling with a few different distractions, but I’m Pressing in to take hold of everything I’m suppose to get.

Bill johnson was preaching last night on honouring the presence of the Holy Spirit. Which is something I keep hearing, from different meetings.
The general thing I’m getting is that we are a royal priesthood. And just enjoy spending time in his presence loving Him for who He is. It marks our lives. It’s what We’re made for, and it’s as I spend time with Him I realise who I am in Him, but before anything I am a priest unto God-that’s my/our primary call.

Got a couple more days soaking here and then it’s on to Bethel!!! Looking forward to seeing family when I get there!!!

Toronto

Just arrived in Toronto last night. It’s cold, wet and cloudy! Brrrr…The conference hasn’t started yet but I went to the church this morning. Its not like I imagined it, it’s fairly small (about 300 people) nothing spectacular to look at But…….there’s something that you feel as you walk in, it’s got a heritage, you know that there has been a big move of God there. There’s a real freedom and sense that God could break out again in a huge way at any moment. Looking forward to the conference……

The prayer room is a community of people that loves and values the presence of Jesus. They just love to spend hours and hours with Him every day.
I’ve been here a little over 5 days now and I think I’ve spent at least 60 hours in the prayer room.
But I’m moving on now to Toronto. And I didn’t realise how difficult i’d find it to leave here because I have LOVED spending so much time in His presence. Just to be able to walk straight into a room that is already charged with the presence of Jesus.
I’m gonna really miss being around that.
Know I’ve downloaded something in my spirit while I’ve been here tho.

The prayer room

The prayer room is inspired by the Moravians prayer movement which started in 1727, which was to pray continuously for revival around the world. This lasted a hundred years and sparked an awakening in England and America. The intercession didn’t stop, 24hrs a day 7days a week. Count Zinzendorf , one of the founders, took hold of the scripture ‘the fire on the altar shall never go out’. Interestingly it was also the influence of the Moravians that led to the Wesley brothers getting born again and sparking a revival in England. The apartment that I’m staying in is called a Hernnhut (based on the Moravians village) and means The watch of the lord.
-interesting that I read about this just a few days before I arrived.

The prayer room is similar to our church when we have a really good prayer meeting, (normally on a friday night) only theirs doesn’t stop, it’s carrying real momentum and so they are seeing a lot of fruit from it. There was 7000 documented healings over a period of 9 months and there is 85 different ministries that operate out of the global prayer centre here.
It’s amazing to watch the continual flow, bit by bit they swap the worship team over, a constant stream of prophetic worship and intercession.
And what’s cool is that you can just walk into a full on prayer/worship session any time day or night. The only thing that’s difficult is remembering to sleep or eat.
I’m soaking it all up, which is good, but part of me is really missing being at home at our church!
And I’m getting hungry to see God move in our church and our city.

Onto Kansas city

I haven’t got the space to tell about all the cool conversations I’ve had with different people. But I was sat next to a lady, Mo, and her husband Greg on the last night and she was telling me about what had happened to her on Thursday night. She explained that she had had an operation where they fused her back with metal pins etc.which had left her back completely straight with limited movement. And during a time when everyone was praying for those around them as hands were layed on her back her back got really hot and when people removed their hands her back went POP! The natural curve in her back reappeared, she was bending and twisting all over the place. Mo was so excited it was brilliant, she said I can’t even feel where the metal use to be. She’d taken herself swimming the next day to try it out and also had to cancel her doctors appointment -praise God so cool!

Last night I had a Holy Ghost taxi ride from the airport to the prayer room. Taxi driver was telling me about what is happening here, I was getting well excited, he then started prophesying over me. It was well top! Never had a taxi ride like that.
Went into the prayer room about midnight- Oh my God! Whoah! Just a constant flow of prophetic worship/intercession. Once your in there it’s hard to walk out. At 4:55am I was so awake, the sound of heaven filling the room, a rich sense of the presence of God. You feel like your home!

It’s taken me a little while to realise it but I’m with a load of whacked out Christians, these guys are completely off their heads – I Love it!!!
There was an offering last night and it was by far the best offering I’ve ever seen. It was taken by a guy called Jim White, who has a brilliant testimony, but I was crying laughing watching him, then the pastor got up to make some announcements and couldn’t speak, somebody had to practically carry him off and then pastor Bill got up and commentated on the show at the front for about 20 minutes. Hope it’s on u tube!
There was about 70 people who had had metal in their bodies who were touched last night, pain left, movement returned and there was several people who physically saw the metal disappear (they could no longer see it or feel it!)
‘the joy of the lord is our strength’ we’ve had a rocking time with verse.
Also it’s been cool to hear Kids as young as 5 singing prophetic songs and bringing a word – brilliant!
I’m off to Kansas city tomorrow, The International House of Prayer. Heard lots of good things about it while I’ve been here. Looking forward to just being able to walk into a prayer/worship time anytime day or night

Some really good meetings people who have had long term illness’ have been getting healed. Also Pastor Bill had a word of knowledge and spoke it out, he then got everyone to pray for the people around them. About 50 people got healed of having no cartilage in their knees and joints and were moving freely with all the pain gone and about another 50 got healed from different head injuries. This morning there was a prophetic word about a people who the Joy of the lord is there strength and as we know and celebrate His victory we see it come into being. ‘time to rise and shine for His Glory is upon us’.
Really encouraging because a lot of the stuff we’re hearing is things that God has been speaking to us as a church.
